Overview
UpdraftPlus is a WordPress backup, restoration, and migration plugin with free and premium editions. It can schedule database and file backups, send archives to supported remote-storage providers, restore selected components, and assist with cloning or migration when the relevant features are available. Its broad storage support and established workflow make it useful for individual sites and agencies, but a successful backup message is not enough: archives should be stored off-site, retention should match business needs, and restores should be tested periodically. Large or unusual sites may require attention to server limits and incremental or alternative backup methods. WordPress.org currently reports 3+ million active installations for the free UpdraftPlus plugin.
