WP Activity Log is a WordPress audit-log plugin that records events involving users, content, plugins, themes, settings, logins, and other site changes. It helps administrators investigate unexpected behaviour, support accountability, monitor high-value sites, and maintain records for operational or compliance workflows. The free edition covers core logging, while premium features add capabilities such as advanced search, reports, external database storage, session management, and integrations. Logging should be configured deliberately: retaining every event indefinitely can add storage and privacy considerations, while recording too little reduces investigative value.
